Motivation
Gemfile.lockpinsjson2.19.8, which is affected by GHSA-x2f5-4prf-w687 (Dependabot alert #68).jsonis a development dependency only, viaactivesupportandrubocop, so the released gem is unaffected.Dependabot never opened a PR for the alert: every security update run since 2026-07-27 (latest) crashes with
TypeError: Passed nil into T.mustinForceUpdater#dependencies_from. The likely trigger is that the lockfile still recordsrails-html-sanitizer (1.7.0)after the version bump in 4f37e3d, so any re-resolve also changes the path gem, which Dependabot does not track as a dependency.Details
Run
bundle lock --update json --conservative --patch, which movesjsonto 2.19.9 and updates the lockfile'srails-html-sanitizerentry to 1.7.1.
