The newer pdf.js versions (specifically 5.x and Firefox 1.45.0) have added native support for annotations and comments with an intuitive UI.
Now I wonder if this could also be used to improve PDF++ embedded annotations. Currently they are quite annoying as they reload the entire document on every change.
